Kings Kids Childcare
YOUR CHILD WILL DEVELOP SELF-ESTEEM, INDEPENDENCE AND LANGUAGE
I am a registered childminder, working together with parents and in partnership with other professional agencies to provide safe and caring environment for children where everyone is unique, loved and appreciated. I am a mother of four boys of which three of them are triplet 14 years and a 17years old.
Being a mother can be challenging and can be incredibly stressful. However, over the time of nurturing my children, I have developed certain skills and qualities which I believe is helping me to run my childminding business successfully. I am a proactive person who gives total commitment and dedication to my work and able to manage my time effectively.
I live with my husband who is a teacher of maths, with over 15 years’ experience. He also provides private tuition for students preparing for GCSE and A Level
I work from home which is situated Chatham Medway, close to local amenities and schools. My home is registered with Ofsted, and I use the downstairs living room, kitchen and garden and Ground floor toilet during minded hours.
When I first opened King’s Kids Childcare, I looked at it from a parent’s point of view, what would I want for my children and what would I want for my children to know. Over the years I have learned so much and I feel like my business improves daily and I feel so lucky that I get to do a job that I absolutely love in my own home.

I try to attend as many courses and training programmes as I can, this ensures Kings kids childcare has all the up-to-date knowledge on all aspects of childminding and caring for your child.

- Certificate in Childminding
- Paediatric First Aid certificate (renewed every 3 years)
- Level 2 Food Hygiene & Safety (renewed every 3 years)
- Advanced Child Protection and Safeguarding Children
- CPD training on childminding to update skills yearly.
My Childcare Philosophy
I feel every child deserves to be safe, to be loved, to have friends to play with, to have fun and learn new things, to eat healthy food and to live a balanced life.
A child’s early years are the building blocks of life, and I am committed to giving each child the individual attention that they need.
Leaving your child in the care of someone else is a difficult decision for any parent, but rest assured your child will be safe, well looked after, but most of all happy!
Kings Kids Childcare gives your child a home from home feel. It is important that children get lots of opportunities to play outdoors and we go out in all weathers! We have a variety of equipment for all ages, so they can not only play and have fun, but they can also learn whilst doing it!
Not only do I provide children with a great place to have fun, there is also a strong focus on the importance of early education. I follow the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) and Every Child Matters document produced by the department for education and skills.
The youngest children are encouraged to learn through interesting and exciting play opportunities, planned to each child’s individual needs and interests, helping their understanding of friendship, cooperation, caring, sharing and fair play, working with parents is key to their learning and development.
As the children get older, their learning experiences become more structured and they will experience more focused opportunities, learning about numbers, letters and sounds, creativity, and the world around them.

MY EXPERIENCE
I am a mother and also have three years’ experience of working as a childminder assistance. In addition, I coordinate the Sunday school department in my local church, which include children and teenagers, some with special needs.
